This long stretch of coastline is a favourite for seaside strolls, and dogs are welcome along the promenade, cycling paths and open lawns as long as they stay leashed. There is plenty of shade, sea breeze and space to picnic between walks. Do clean up after your pup, and note the dogs-off-leash area is the separate East Coast Park Dog Run.
